Positionality Statement

I am gender queer, Brown immigrant from Mexico, settler to the traditional land of the Coast Salish territories.

I am dedicated to the abolition of all systems of oppression that serve settler colonial and white supremacy.

As a community educator and academic, my work centers Black, Brown, and Indigenous peoples and my curricula are based on the teachings of bell hooks and Paulo Freire.

Drawing from thorough Social Emotional training, I facilitate robotics, digital art and philosophical learning spaces with youth in Seattle, and work towards building community everywhere I go with anti-racist and intersectionality frameworks.
