I would like to acknowledge the first people of Seattle – past, present, and future – of Dkhw’Duw’Absh, the Duwamish, all /ˈSeɪləʃ/ the Salish and all Indigenes upon whose traditional lands I live, study and work. I honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
